Clara helps Future 500’s team members get their ideas and insights in front of the people who most need to hear them. Whether the targeted venue is social media, a conference stage, blog, or other forum, she has the connections and the tactics to elevate our personal and organizational brands.
Clara likes working for Future 500 because of the organization’s deep commitment to countering polarization across issue areas. She believes that active, appreciative listening is the first step to tackling many of the world’s biggest challenges.
In prior roles, Clara supported organizations as diverse as the Scottish Parliament, Indigenous radio shows, the Government of Canada, and her church. She’s passionate about accelerating thoughtful dialogue and action around Indigenous resurgence, clean energy, and environmental policy.
Clara earned an interdisciplinary B.A. from the University of British Columbia (UBC). She was a student representative to the school’s Faculty of Arts, an executive of the Arts Co-op Student Association, and founded the Canadian Studies Student Association. She’s an equal appreciator of good art and terrible puns, and enjoys cooking delicious meals with local ingredients – especially those harvested by a friend.
Clara grew up in a small town, but now hangs her hat in Vancouver, B.C., where she is a freelance dog petter and Scotch connoisseur.
