Our speaker, Dr. Rui Resendes, is a former industrial chemist now with the NGO Change Chemistry (formerly GC3). He will share his insights for catalyzing safer and sustainable chemistry by taking action across industries and supply chains. He will set the stage for an interactive discussion of the challenges facing "green" chemicals, and how as a former member of industry himself he recommends companies address growing scrutiny from consumers and advocates.

Dr. Resendes is a technology commercialization professional with expertise in business development, technology marketing and licensing, IP management and start-up company creation and financing. Through his various roles within multinational corporations, start-up companies and technology incubators, Dr. Resendes has advanced technology commercialization, through multi-stakeholder partnerships, across several technology sectors.
