Bridging divides to maintain corporate progress on material social and environmental initiatives amidst rising social & political risk
September 9-10, 2025 | Denver, Colorado
Where: The Ramble Hotel 1280 25th St, Denver, CO 80205
When: September 9-10, 2025
What: Join us for an exclusive, in-person gathering of corporate and NGO leaders dedicated to advancing social and environmental sustainability. Over two days, participants will engage in candid discussions, knowledge sharing, and peer-to-peer learning facilitated under Chatham House Rule to ensure confidentiality and openness.
This year, we are honored to welcome distinguished speakers such as Jennifer Krill, Executive Director of Earthworks, and Dr. Cecilia Martinez, Chief of Environmental and Climate Justice at the Bezos Earth Fund. Together, they will provide insights into the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in sustainability and environmental justice.
Our founder, Bill Shireman will lead a discussion with former Colorado Governor, Bill Ritter entitle Bridging Political Divides to Get to Net Zero. In this session, we will hear how the former Governor has worked hard to balance the needs of the once-purple, now blue-leaning state, to enable cleaner, affordable, abundant energy. As states become more left or right-leaning, what is the role of natural gas, carbon capture, and other energy strategies in imagining a net-zero world by 2040 or 2050? Whether you are governing or a corporate leader, people need to be "reaching across the aisle" to enable constructive paths forward.
The event also features a Corporate Peer Exchange, where leading companies will share real-world case studies on strategic challenges, responses, and lessons learned. Topics include balancing sustainability with financial goals, navigating political risks, and transparent reporting practices.
Designed for maximum interaction, this small-group gathering is limited to 25 participants to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration. Don’t miss this opportunity to build relationships, exchange ideas, and drive positive change in our shared future.
Registration: Register here. Registration price will increase on July 30th. Complimentary for Future 500 CAN members.
