Members of Future 500’s Corporate Affinity Network (CAN) are invited to join a closed-door discussion with Nicky Davies, executive director of the Plastic Solutions Fund on February 9th at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 ET.

The Plastic Solutions Fund is an international funder collaborative that envisions "a world in which only truly necessary and non-toxic plastics are produced, and even those are re-used, repaired, or recycled." The fund is drawn to initiatives that "catalyze change as close to the source of the plastic problem as possible" and has supported Break Free From Plastic, EcoWaste's Project No Burn, and Upstream's Plastic Exposed project, to name a few.

The fund is currently developing their strategy for the next three years. CAN members will engage with Davies on how the strategy is evolving, questions and challenges they're currently considering, and what they expect from corporations and brands in the coming years. An environmental lawyer by training, and former Greenpeace program director, Davies helped develop the multi-NGO grassroots strategy that became Break Free From Plastic, and now sits on its steering committee.

Only CAN members will be admitted to the meeting. To learn more about membership visit future500.org/can. Senior corporate leaders can email Erik Wohlgemuth, COO with an expression of interest and request a courtesy invitation to audit one of our virtual meetings.
